Settled just outside the heart of Brandesburton, a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, is this beautiful, luxury lodge, Meadowbank Lodge.

Lying amidst several other fabulous lodges, this single-storey, detached dwelling enjoys a hot tub, ramp entrance access and attractive décor, with a location affording easy exploration of both the coast and countryside.

Delight in evenings spent within the light and bright interiors of the open-plan living space, with a large corner sofa to sink into before the large TV and electric fire, with a PlayStation4 for even more entertainment.

Gather at the dining table for mealtimes with the group, with food prepared in the modern fitted kitchen, boasting quality appliances including an American-style fridge/freezer.

Discover two beautiful bedrooms to drift off in with a master king-size bedroom offering a sleek en-suite shower room and a TV, and a twin room which can be transformed into a super-king-size on request, along with a further shower room to freshen up in.

Spend plenty of time outside in the sun on the beautiful wrap-around decking; dine alfresco on the outdoor furniture, cook up a storm on the gas barbecue, and sink into the relaxing bubbling waters of the hot tub, with lawn space for pets and children to enjoy too, it's an idyllic space for all.

Enjoy spotting wildlife in this scenic location too, with the occasional flash of blue from a kingfisher by the owner's pond, as well as rabbits, kestrels and buzzards too!

Keen anglers will be delighted that this area is a haven for fishing, with several fishing ponds nearby to enjoy including Starr Carr Lakes.

Discover the beauty of the Yorkshire coast at Hornsea with a visit to Hornsea Beach or head to Hornsea Mere to delight in a range of watersports and fun on the lake.

Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo is a great attraction for all ages, while Wassand Hall and Park are also nearby, as well as Hornsea Museum.

Visit the pretty seaside town of Bridlington for more excellent days on the beach, walks along the Flamborough Headland and visits to Bridlington Animal Park.

A great way to explore the area is by bike, with exciting cycling challenges as well as gentler journeys like the Yorkshire Wolds circular trail.

BRANDESBURTON

Hornsea 6.5 miles

The small village of Brandesburton lies in the East Riding of Yorkshire between Hornsea and Beverley. Surrounded by open countryside, this small village hosts two local shops, two traditional village inns, three restaurants/takeaways - Chinese, Italian and Fish and Chips, a nearby golf course and a small village green, plus numerous fishing ponds and nearby watersports facilities. There is a nearby indoor market and car boot sale every Sunday at Skirlington. The seaside town of Hornsea lies just under 7 miles to the east and offers traditional seaside amenities with long golden sands, extensive promenade and ornamental gardens, tea rooms and pubs. A short drive from Brandesburton brings you to the historic market town of Beverley with its majestic minster, independent shops and rich array of quality restaurants, trendy cafes and cobbled market square. Brandesburton is well placed for visiting the numerous stately homes and gardens in the area, including Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Burton Constable Hall.
